Simbu is in trouble over the leak of a vulgar song, which is being referred to as 'beep song', sung by him and composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
Writers and women organisations have condemned Simbu and Anirudh's taste of music and a case has also been filed against them in Coimbatore. People have criticised the song, which begins with the line 'Enna P*******Ku love panrom', for the cuss words in the song and claim that it's cheap song written to criticise women.
As per a report, the controversial song was recorded by Simbu and Anirudh Ravichander two years ago. It was a private song restricted to their group. But some miscreants have leaked the track and the number instantly went viral on WhatsApp, putting Simbu and Anirudh in trouble.
All these have made Simbu fans believe that he is being unfairly targeted by his rivals. They allege that these are the same people, who tried to create hurdles over his "Vaalu" release. And now, they are trying to tarnish his image through this issue by blowing it out of the proportion.
They add that Simbu had also made some enemies after he contested elections at Nadigar Sangam a few months ago. And his rivals are using this opportunity to tarnish his image.
However, Simbu and Anirudh's contradicting statements have not helped them in any way. While the music director from Toronto has denied his involvement in the song, STR's father has admitted that the duo had composed it long ago but the present track has been modified by some miscreants and he claimed that the objectionable words were not part of the original number.
Simbu's father has also filed a case with the cyber crime police and requested them to take stern action against the culprits.
