Jammu/Chandigarh/ New Delhi, Feb 13 (ANI): Activists of a regional outfit on Friday (February 13) staged protest against release of the film 'The Messenger of God' (MSG), portraying self-styled spiritual leader and chief of the Dera Sacha Sauda sect, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. Members of the Jammu and Kashmir Sikh United Front (JKSUF) shouted slogans against Singh and burnt posters of 'MSG' as the film hits the silver screen on Friday. The film, which features the self-styled spiritual leader in jewel-studded costume riding motorbikes, drew severe criticism in Punjab and led to violence in some parts. In view of the film's release, police in Chandigarh have beefed up security to avoid any untoward incident. Meanwhile, protests also erupted in capital city of New Delhi where SAD is against its release.
