The trailer of "Kapoor and Sons," starring Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Fawad Khan, has recently been released and it has garnered appreciation from all quarters. The film promises to be a roller coaster ride of laughs, tears, emotions and romance.
Directed by Shakun Batra and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, the film brings Malhotra and Bhatt on the big screen for a second time. Also, the fresh romance between Bhatt and Khan has been liked by many.
Khan and Malhotra play the characters of two brothers, who returned to their childhood home after five years. Ratna Pathak Shah and Rajat Kapoor play their parents and Rishi Kapoor captures the viewers' heart in the character of "Dadu" (grandfather).
"Kapoor and Sons" is a love traingle and in the trailer, Bhatt is seen kissing both the brothers, Rahul (Khan) and Arjun (Malhotra). Though the "Shaandaar" actress looked stunning with both the actors, the real hero who will win the heroine at the end, will be revealed after the movie is released.
Scheduled to be released on 18 March, the film is a complete Punjabi family drama. Apart from "Kapoor and Sons," the rumoured couple Bhatt and Malhotra are busy shooting other projects as well.
Bhatt is currently working on "Udta Punjab," where she will be featured alongside Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan, and has bagged Gauri Shinde's next project opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Malhotra will next be seen in Nitya Mehra's "Baar Baar Dekho" opposite Katrina Kaif.
When asked about their Valentine's Day plan at the trailer launch event, Bhatt said she would be shooting for Shinde's film and Malhotra said he would be with his "Baar Baar Dekho" team.
