Actress Shraddha Kapoor has been on a roll churning out back-to-back hits right from "Aashiqui 2" to "ABCD 2". Her commendable effort and popularity have made her a much sought after actress, and her brilliant performance in her latest dance flick might grab her Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty's joint venture "Ram Lakhan" remake.

Last year, Dharma Productions had announced that Karan and Rohit will come together for the remake of "Ram Lakhan."

However, till now, there was no announcement regarding the film's making. But a few days ago, news of Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra being finalised for the film have started doing the rounds.

Though an official announcement is yet to be made, Sid will reportedly reprise Jackie Shroff's role as Ram, while Varun will play Lakhan played by Anil Kapoor.

Additionally, an insider recently revealed that the makers are thinking about Dimple Kapadia and Madhuri Dixit's characters as well. Apparently, Shraddha will be roped in for Radha's role in the film.

"People keep forgetting that along with being a two-hero film, it's also a two-heroine project. Producer Karan Johar is keen on Shraddha Kapoor for Madhuri's role. He's very impressed with her performance in ABCD 2," Bollywood Life quoted a source as saying.

"Shraddha's riding high on her back-to-back successes and Alia Bhatt is one of Karan's favourites. So both of them are the toughest contenders for the role. But nothing has been finalised," the insider added.

When Shraddha was asked about the casting, she seemed surprised. "Really! Am I? I am not in talks with them for this film. No one has approached me yet but I would love to do a film with Dharma," Shraddha told Bollywood Life.

Meanwhile, the actress is busy with other projects. Shraddha will start shooting for "Baaghi" opposite Tiger Shroff from August this year. She has also signed Farhan Akhtar's "Rock On" sequel.
