Filmmaker Mani Ratnam has begun the shooting of the Hindi version of his Tamil superhit flick "OK Kanmani." Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor, who will be seen playing the lead roles in "OK Jaanu," were recently spotted shooting in Mumbai's Marine Drive.

Shraddha and Aditya's shooting brought the traffic to a standstill, while shooting their film "OK Jaanu." Apart from their Marine Drive sequence, they have shot a scene where Shraddha and Aditya were on a bike. A huge crowd gathered Sunday to see the shooting of the film.

The duo is making a comeback to the big screen after three years with this remake. After "Aashiqui 2," Aditya and Shraddha will reunite in this flick, which is a cute love story about a young couple in a live-in relationship in Mumbai.

In Tamil, the title of the film was "O Kadhal Kanmani," which meant "Oh Love, Apple of my eye." Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen starrer was a blockbuster hit that released last year.

Earlier, several pictures were doing the rounds on social media from the shoot of the Hindi version. Aditya-Shraddha, who were rumoured to be dating earlier, have been one of the most loved pairs in Bollywood. It has been reported that the script of "OK Jaanu" demands a few intimate scenes between the young couple.

"It is the moment of reckoning, so to speak," a source close to the project told DNA. "Aditya and Shraddha would have to get very comfortable with one another for this particular love-making scene," the source added.

Meanwhile, Shraddha is shooting for two projects – "Baaghi" and "Rock On 2." Shraddha will share screen space with Tiger Shroff in "Baaghi" and will star alongside Farhan Akhtar in "Rock On 2." She has also signed "Half Girlfriend" opposite Arjun Kapoor.
