The marriage reception of Nirupama Shivaraj Kumar and Dileep will be held at Palace Grounds on 31 August. The function will begin at 7 pm.
The wedding was performed as per Hindu tradition earlier in the day. The marriage was an embodiment of South Indian culture, including decor and food. Shivaraj Kumar's daughter's marriage ceremony was graced by the who's who of Kannada film industry. Upendra, Jaggesh, Sudeep, Sudharani, Srikanth and many others attend the function to bless the couple.

Karnataka Energy Minister DK Shivakumar, Union Ministers Ananth Kumar and Sadananda Gowda and former Karnataka Chief Minister SM Krishna also graced the function.
It was earlier speculated that Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and other big names from the film fraternity would attend the function. But they did not turn up. Now, it is believed they will grace the reception in the evening.
The guests at the wedding reception will be treated with live performances. Shivaraj Kumar, Puneet Rajkumar and many others will entertain the invitees with their dance performances. The dinner will be a lavish spread of vegetarian and non-vegetarian delicacies.
Nirupama, 27, and Dileep, who hails from Mandya, have completed their MS from Mysore. They know each other for eight years.
