Real Star Upendra is returning with "Shivam" directed by Srinivasa Raju of "Dandupalya" fame.
Upendra has paired up with Ragini Dwivedi again. Earlier, they had teamed up in P Vasu's "Aaraksha", which had failed to make a big impact at the box office. The latest movie also features Saloni, Girish Karnad, P Ravi Shankar, Rangayana Raghu, Tabla Nani and others in the cast.
Popular Telugu music director Mani Sharma has composed music for "Shivam", Venkat Prasad has handled the camera and Vinod Manohar has edited the Kannada flick.
A preist saves a temple from invaders, who wanted to destroy the temple, in the 11th century. In the present day, a member from the same family is forced to take up the same profession of his forefathers. Apart from it, he has another major task of eliminating an international don. How he performs multiple roles become the crux of the story.
"Shivam" is packed with thrilling twists and turns. Upendra will be seen in dual roles and Ragini Dwivedi at her glamarous best.The movie promotes the Hindu Right ideas and this has raised eyebrows of a section of audience.
