Actress Shilpa Shetty who is in her ninth month of pregnancy is looking forward to her new phase of life as a mother.
The actress' baby shower party, which was organized by sister Shamita along with friend and business partner Kiran Bawaatwas, was held at her Juhu house on Thursday.
Dressed in a printed summer dress Shamita welcomed the guests with brother-in-law Raj Kundra.
'I am eagerly waiting for a healthy baby. And I am way too excited to gatecrash into the all-women's party,' Daily Mail quoted Raj Kundra as saying.
The ceremony was attended by many Bollywood's bigwigs including Sameera Reddy, Malaika Arora Khan, Amrita Arora, Raveena Tandon, Neha Dhupia, Farah Khan and Sanjay Dutt's wife Maanyata.
Shilpa happily tweeted on her microblogging page thanking all her friends who graced the occasion.
She posted, "A big thankuuu 2 al my friends who came nd made me feel soo special 2day.Openin baby gifts nd looking fwd to this new phase in my life."
"Today was such a special day..my Sis Shamita and friends Rupali and Kiran threw the most amazin Baby shower fr me.So much fun. Thanku guys," she wrote.
Hubby Raj Kundra reportedly gifted a 24-carat gold spoon to his beautiful wife.
The 37-year-old actress is on cloud nine ever since she confirmed her pregnancy last December.

The winner of 2007 Britain's Celebrity Big Brother TV show married Raj Kundra in 2009.
