Ace filmmaker Shankar has praised Jayam Ravi and Arvind Swamy starrer "Thani Oruvan". The director took to Twitter to share his views about the flick.
"Recently saw "Thani oruvan" Gripping well done RajaImpressive performance by RaviArvindswamy- waw !!!Riveting bgm by Aadhi!! Cheers guys," Shankar tweeted. The director is known for appreciating good work by fellow artistes.
"Thani Oruvan" has emerged as one of the biggest Kollywood hits of 2015. The movie has been appreciated by many celebrities, including Tamil superstar Rajinikanth.
Meanwhile, "Thani Oruvan" is getting ready to be remade in other languages.
There is a buzz that Salman Khan is likely to star in the Hindi version. He saw the movie recently and was apparently impressed by the content. Though Salman Khan is yet to sign on the dotted line, he is sure to take up the project, suggest reports. Other details about the remake are under wraps.
Kannada star Upendra has also shown interest in the Sandalwood remake; talks are on and he could probably take up the project soon. He is likely to do the role of Jayam Ravi.
"Thani Oruvan" has been written by SuBha and directed by Jayam Raja. It is a stylish commercial movie, which has Nayantara in the female lead. Jayam Ravi and Arvind Swamy play the male leads and their minds game in the film is the biggest highlight of the flick.
"Thani Oruvan" is the best original work of Jayam brothers till date. It has collected over Rs 75 crore in Tamil Nadu.
