The appreciation for SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2 has continued with ace filmmaker now heaping praises on the movie. The director took Twitter to share good words about the Prabhas and Rana Daggubati-starrer.
"Just saw Bahubali 2 - The pride of Indian Cinema.What a Bravery,Beauty, Grandness & Music.. Awestruck.Hats off to 'Raja'mouli artists n team." Rajamouli replied to this tweet by saying, "Thank you SIR.. Your words are an inspiration to work even more harder. Our team is ecstatic & jubilant."
Shankar, like SS Rajamouli himself, has made it a point to watch good movies and share his views on Twitter. With the Tamil director lauding the film, the collection of Baahubali 2 is expected to boost in the days to come.
The director watched Baahubali 2 in a special screening which was also attended by Rajinikanth. The Tamil superstar was also impressed by the film and he tweeted, "Baahubali 2 ... indian cinema's pride. My salutes to God's own child @ssrajamouli and his team!!! #masterpiece."
Baahubali 2 has struck gold in Tamil Nadu. The movie has earned over Rs 31 crore in its three days weekend. In Chennai, the film has raked in Rs 3.24 crore.
The two-part movie is directed by SS Rajamouli, while his father KV Vijayendra Prasad has penned the story. Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia are in the leads. Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan are in key roles.
The first instalment had grossed over Rs 600 crore and the people are predicting the sequel to do a bigger business than its predecessor.
