The theatrical trailer of "Shajahanum Pareekuttiyum," the movie starring Kunchacko Boban, Amala Paul and Jayasurya, was released on Friday, June 17. The one-minute 40-second trailer has been released on the YouTube channel of Satyam Videos.

The trailer, which features Kunchacko, Amala, Jayasurya, Aju Varghese, Lena, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Kalabhavan Shajon, Nadhirshah and others, looks promising. It gives a hint that the audience can also expect a suspense element in the comedy entertainer.

The Boban Samuel-directed movie is expected to revolve around a funny love triangle plot. The trailer of the multi-starrer seems to have been well accepted by the audience as it had been viewed more than 35,000 times, at the time of reporting.

The makers had earlier released the first song, "Chithira Muthe" from the movie featuring the lead actors. The romantic song has been well accepted by the audience with more than 2.3 lakh views registered so far on the video sharing website.

The film, scripted by YV Rajesh, features cinematography by Anishlal RS. The movie marks the team-up of Jayasurya and Kunchacko after their comedy entertainers, "Swapnakood," "Lollipop," "101 Weddings," "Four Friends," "Gulumaal: The Escape," "Three Kings" and the recently-released thriller, "School Bus." This is the first time the duo will be seen opposite Amala Paul, who was last seen in a Malayalam film, opposite Mohanlal in "Laila O Laila."

The upcoming "Shajahanum Pareekuttiyum," produced by Ashiq Usman, will hit the screens as an Eid release in July.
