Aamir Khan appears to be in a mood to extend an olive branch towards his contemporary Shahrukh Khan and has been heard praising him these days.

While promoting "Dhoom 3", the perfectionist opined that Shahrukh would be the perfect fit to play the villainous character in "Dhoom" movies.

"If Adi (producer Aditya Chopra) thinks Shah Rukh is right for 'Dhoom' next, then it's good. I am sure he will do a good...great job (as a baddie ...anti-hero)," PTI quoted Aamir.

Incidentally, Shahrukh in his illustrious career has delivered hits playing negative roles quite tactfully in films such as "Darr", "Baazigar", "Anjaam" and "Don."

Hence, Aamir's suggestion with respect to SRK's casting in the forthcoming "Dhoom" installment is surely an ideal suggestion for the film's makers.

Aamir's sudden praises for Shahrukh reflects the budding friendship between the two. Both the actors were spotted sharing the same cab and chatting away happily when they visited the capital city, earlier this month. SRK was later heard praising Aamir and calling him "one of the finest actors." He also praised Aamir's professional approach towards his role in "Dhoom 3".

Apart from SRK, Aamir's friendship with Salman too has been quite evident. Helping Aamir to promote the film, Salman has been gleefully donning the trademark bowler's hat while hosting the reality show, "Bigg Boss 7."
