Latest Tamil movie "Eetti" (Eeti), starring Adharvaa (Atharvaa), captured hearts and garnered positive reviews on its release.

The recent buzz is that the makers of the film will be remaking it in other languages as well, and Shahid Kapoor will reprise Adharvaa's role in the Hindi version.

"Eetti's makers are in talks with Shahid Kapoor for the Hindi remake. In Telugu, they are in talks with Nitin while in Kannada, they are looking at casting Yash. Ravi Arasu, who directed the Tamil version, is likely to direct the other versions too," The New Indian Express quoted a source as saying.

Written and directed by Ravi Arasu, "Eetti". featured Sri Divya in the female lead role.

Adharvaa played the role of an athlete, who comes to Chennai from Tanjore for an athletic meet. A series of incidents that follow forms the crux of the story.

According to the film's review, Adharvaa has once again proved his talent. His hard work towards getting that fit itself proves his dedication for the character.

While Shahid reprising the role of the Tamil actor will be quite challenging for him, the "Shaandaar" actor has proved his mettle in "Kaminey" and Haider" and thus, he seems to be the perfect choice for the Hindi remake of "Eetti".

Shahid is currently busy with his other Bollywood projects. The actor is shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj's "Rangoon", which also features Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut.

He will also appear in "Udta Punjab" next year along side Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
