Shahid Kapoor's last movie "Shaandaar" did not have much of an impact at the box office, which has apparently made the actor extra-cautious about his upcoming projects.

Recent reports suggested that Shahid had walked out of Vikramaditya Motwane's "AK vs SK" as he felt the project was too risky for him after the failure of "Shaandaar".

According to a report in Filmfare, Shahid recently called up Motwane and told him he would like to opt out of the project. A shocked Motwane tried to convince Shahid to do the film, but the "Shaandaar" actor remained firm in his decision, the report added.

However, a fresh report now claims Shahid is still very much a part of "AK vs SK", and that he has planned to complete the shooting for the film after he wraps up the work for "Rangoon".

"Shahid is doing 'AK vs SK'. He has already shot a few days for the film and now will shoot for it after his 'Rangoon' schedule. 'AK vs SK' is a very different shoot any which way. Also, Shahid is growing a beard for 'Rangoon', so he wants to complete that schedule before getting into 'AK vs SK' to avoid continuity issues," Bollywoodlife quoted a source from a DNA report as saying.

"AK vs SK" also features Anurag Kashyap in one of the lead roles.
