The makers of "Shaandaar" released the title track, "Shaam Shaandaar", on 16 September, which has now crossed one million views on YouTube.

The track, sung and composed by Amit Trivedi, possesses a very happy vibe.

Few days ago, the makers had released the first track, "Gulaabo", which went viral online. It amassed over 2.6 million views within 18 hours of its release and thus created history.

Will "Shaam Shaandaar" be able to touch audience's hearts and souls like "Gulaabo" did?

While it didn't create any history, it has managed to capture hearts. The peppy number received over one million views in two days.

Directed by Vikas Bahl and co-produced by Phantom Films, Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Fox, the film has created a lot of curiosity ever since the release of its trailer.

KJo even took to his Twitter handle to thank people for liking both the tracks of the film - "Gulaabo" and "Shaam Shaandaar".

In the film, both Alia and Shahid suffer from insomnia and fall in love in the middle of a larger-than-life wedding. It is an out-and-out youthful love story focusing on two characters - Alia and Jagjinder Joginder. Alia's father Bipin (played by Pankaj Kapur) adds a twist to their romance as he believes no guy will ever be good enough for his daughter.

While Alia is a dreamer, Jagjinder Joginder is a doer and he feels he can make anything happen. And Bipin hates him for obvious reasons.

This is the first time Shahid and Alia are teaming up for a film. "Shaandaar" is supposed to be India's first ever film on "destination wedding".

The film is slated for Dussehra release on 22 October.
