Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly suggested "Kai Po Che!" fame Sushant Singh Rajput's girlfriend Ankita Lokhande for the female lead of his upcoming venture, "Happy New Year".

As per reports, Shah Rukh suggested Ankita's name to Farah Khan, who will be directing the movie, after he spotted her with beau Sushant Singh Rajput at the 14th edition of International Indian Film Academy Award (IIFA) at Macau.

"Several names, including that of Katrina Kaif, have been doing the rounds. SRK spotted Ankita with Sushant at Macau," a source told Mid-Day.

Revealing that Ankita has signed the movie, the source added, "He spoke to Farah. Once Ankita came back, she met the director and now has apparently signed on the dotted line."
