Shah Rukh Khan, the Delhi boy who came to Mumbai to become the Badshah of Bollywood, has been living his life king size with the immense love that he gets from his family along with a sea of fans who gather outside his mansion Mannat. He has been ranked 13th in the highest-earnings celebrities in India by Forbes and one would be tempted to ask the King Khan about the most expensive thing that he has ever bought in his life. And while speaking about it, Shah Rukh Khan has recently revealed that the thing was none other than his Bandra sea-facing house Mannat which is worth Rs 200 crore (approximately).

"I am from Delhi and Delhiites have the concept of living in a kothi (bungalow). In Mumbai, the concept is to live in apartments, but in Delhi, even if one is not well off, they still own a small bungalow, " Shah Rukh Khan told Radio Mirchi during his recent interaction.

He added, "When I came to Mumbai, I was already married and was living in a small apartment with my wife Gauri. My mother in-law would keep saying, 'You live in such a small house.' Eventually, when I saw Mannat, it felt like that Delhi wala kothi and so I bought it and that was the most expensive thing I bought."

Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan, who was at the second position on the 2017 Forbes India Celebrity list, couldn't make it to the top 10 this year because of no movie release in 2017.

While Salman Khan topped for the third consecutive year, the Zero actor fell out of the top 10 list. His earnings were down 33 percent this year, at Rs 56 crore from endorsements, placing him at rank 13 on the list. But he was least bothered about it and had said, "I've become dearer on Twitter and poorer according to the (Forbes) survey. I just hope with this film (Zero) I become nearer! So dearer, poorer and nearer in one day. Look at the life of a star!"

His latest Zero may have failed to make a mark at the box office, but Shah Rukh Khan has been and will always be loved by millions of his admirers and there's no second thoughts about it.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in astronaut Rakesh Sharma's biopic which will be directed by Mahesh Mathai.
