Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol's iconic love song "Gerua" from the movie "Dilwale" has crossed 100 million views on YouTube. Tagged as the love anthem of 2015, the song video "Gerua" shows SRK and Kajol's evergreen chemistry along with exotic scenic beauty in the background.

Crossing 100 million views on YouTube, "Gerua" has apparently become the most viewed song video from a Bollywood movie to date. Hashtag #Gerua100Million has been trending on Twitter as soon as Sony Music announced the news of the romantic song video having crossed the big number.

Earlier, Honey Singh's single titled "Dheere Dheere," starring Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor, had crossed 100 million views on YouTube, becoming the most watched Hindi song video. However, "Gerua" has apparently become the most popular song video from any Bollywood movie.

While "Gerua" has become the most viewed song video on YouTube from any Bollywood movie and "Dheere Dheere" holds the same record for any single song video, there are some other Hindi song videos that have garnered overwhelming response on YouTube.

Song videos like "Main Hoon Hero Tera," "Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan," "Samjhawan unplugged," "DJ Wale Babu," "Selfie Le Le" and "Afghan Jalebi," among others, are some of the most watched YouTube Hindi videos to date, and the number keeps increasing every day.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, "Dilwale" is a romantic drama that also featured Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. It was one of the most hyped Bollywood movies of 2015 as it brought back the iconic pairing of Shah Rukh and Kajol back on the big screen. However, the flick failed to match the hype and expectations around it. Check the song video "Gerua" here:
