Serena Williams and Drake are definitely an item, suggest various reports. The web is filled with love tales of the rapper and the tennis player. But the latest buzz is that family and close friends of the Wimbledon champion have been warning her of her rekindled relationship.

Recently, Serena and Drake were spotted having dinner and making out at a fancy restaurant in Cincinnati, fuelling dating rumours yet again. Daily Mail (via TMZ) has reported that the pair rekindled their romance hours after Williams won the Women's Tennis Association tournament.

The tennis player was apparently sitting on the rapper's lap and whispering into his ears in a private room of the high-end restaurant. The chemistry between the two was very obvious with onlookers claiming that they just couldn't keep their hands off each other.

Meanwhile, Hollywood Life has reported that the 28-year-old rapper has been pursuing the 33-year-old tennis player for a while now before she gave in. But her family and friends are very uncomfortable with this rekindled relationship as they fear Drake may leave Serena heart-broken again.

"Her friends and family, unfortunately, aren't as trusting of Drake and worry he will just break her heart. She's on the cusp of becoming the undisputed best female tennis player in the history of the game and they don't want a broken heart at the hands of Drake derailing her," an insider said.

Talking of how Drake persuaded her, a source reportedly said: "Serena and Drake have been on a slow burn for a few months now. They have known each other for years and there has always been a spark but the timing was off. Drake was always saying to her, 'when are we going out?' Serena never seriously thought Drake was interested in her like that, though. He's such a player and a flirt she thought he was just playing games."

Serena is apparently being very cautious this time around. "But when he really started pursuing her she thought why not. Part of Serena is concerned that Drake is only after her to get another notch on his belt. But she's throwing caution into the wind," the source added.

Drake and Serena have been on the on-again, off-again couple list ever since their split in 2012. So, will the couple pull it through this time? Well, only time will tell.
