Selfie-Bug Bites Bollywood Celebrities

Bollywood selfies are now going viral on social media. From veteran actors to young celebrities, all are now busy uploading selfies in their official Instagram and Twitter handles.

The selfie bug seems to have bitten most of the Bollywood stars including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. These Bollywood celebrities are so obsessed with selfies that you can see their photos popping up frequently on the social-networking sites.

Selfies became more popular after Ellen DeGenere's Oscar selfie. It was the most retweeted tweet of all time.

The word selfie, by the end of 2012, was considered by Time magazine as one among the "top 10 buzzwords" of that year and was also chosen as Oxford Dictionaries Word of the year 2013.
