Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have both in their recent interviews have made it clear that they are not looking for relationships right now, but they never gave any affirmative response when asked if reconciliation of their romance was possible in near future.
However, a latest interview has given the Jelena fans some hope. Selena Gomez in her interview with Elle did not rule out the possibility of a reconciliation with Justin Bieber. In fact, Selena admitted that she is not sure what the future holds.
In her interview, the "Good For You" singer opened up about her past relationships, scope of Justin reconciliation and song inspirations. When the interviewer asked if the song "Same Old Love" from her latest album "Revival" is about a specific relationship, Selena said, "Sometimes you're stuck in the same cycle. This is kind of my 'forget it' song. I'm sick of all of it."
But when the 23-year-old singer was point-blank asked about getting back with Justin Bieber, she didn't shut the idea down. "I don't know!" she said. At the same time, she cleared out Jelena relationship status by saying that Justin-Selena are "genuinely friends".
"I'll forever support him and love him in a way that....We grew up together. I think people want it to be different. We're too young for that. Nobody was married. There was no.... I respect him. And I think he respects me, in a healthy manner," she confessed.
Selena also confirmed that she had a thing with Russian DJ Zedd, but dating is not her main priority right now. "Finding somebody is not my main focus. I've dated people. I've been on a few dates, which is really exciting. But I've never wanted to get into anything serious, because I kind of did that. I have my guard up. I like to meet people in organic settings. Hanging out with a group of people and meeting through mutual people," Selena said.
Recently, when Justin Bieber appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres show, he too confirmed that he is very much single and ready to mingle. And when the 57-year-old host blatantly asked him if his song "What do you Mean?" is about Selena, he cleared it out saying: "It's about women in general."
Well, all you Jelena fans, it looks like Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are not getting back together anytime soon. But, the good thing is that they have confirmed that they still remain very good friends.
