Parth Samthaan and Rishita Kothari's Seher Hone Ko Hai, currently airing on Colors TV, is heading towards a seven-year leap, and Rishita has bid goodbye to the show.
Replacing Rishita will be Bhavika Sharma, who will now essay the role of Seher. She has officially entered the show, and her first look has already been unveiled. The makers shared a promo featuring Bhavika and Parth post the leap. While Parth continues to be part of the show, Rishita and Mahhi Vij have exited.
New Seher's First Look After Seher Hone Ko Hai's 7-Year Leap
The promo, which will air on July 6, introduces the seven-year leap and reveals Seher's new look. It begins with Parth meditating in his room as flashes of his past with Seher run through his mind. A voiceover says he needs therapy, and he heads to meet a doctor, who turns out to be Seher. She is now living her dream of becoming a doctor.
There enters Seher, now essayed by Bhavika. While she looks beautiful and gorgeous, many fans felt the aura, beautiful eyes and innocence that Rishita Kothari brought to Seher are missing in the new version of the character.
Fans were quick to point out noticeable changes in Seher's appearance. One user tweeted, "Okay but what about eyes? Magically changed from green to brown? Hopefully, they should show either she's wearing lenses or some other justified reason because in earlier scenes, before the off-screen drama, her eyes were often highlighted."
Another fan wrote, "No hate to the new actress. But only Rishita suits best as Seher. Her eyes and expressions. Can't imagine someone else as Seher."

Many even said Bhavika looks older than Parth.

Ever since the promo dropped, showing Parth and the new Seher coming face-to-face for the first time after the leap, social media has been flooded with mixed reactions.
Several comments read, "You can't act, but you better be nice to Parth. Don't be rude like Rishita (Kothari)." Another user wrote, "Parth fans will make you famous now." A third commented, "You better not mess with Parth like Rishita or else you know the power of Parth fandom."
At the same time, a section of viewers is wondering whether Parth Samthaan will share a cordial equation with his new co-star or if a fresh controversy could emerge.
Reacting to the promo, another user commented, "Seher is giving Savi vibes and Parth and Bhavika ain't working as a pair aesthetically in the promo at least."
Bhavika is best known for playing Savi Chavan Thakkar in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and has also starred in Maddam Sir, Jiji Maa, Parvarrish – Season 2 and Yeh Ishq Nahin Aasaan. She will now be seen opposite Parth Samthaan as the new Seher in Seher Hone Ko Hai.
Neither Rishita Kothari nor the makers have officially disclosed the reason behind her exit from the show. However, entertainment reports suggest her departure is part of the show's seven-year leap, with the makers opting to introduce an older version of Seher. Following weeks of speculation over her replacement, Bhavika Sharma was eventually finalised to take over the lead role.
Rishita Kothari turns emotional as she bids adieu to Seher Hone Ko Hai
Meanwhile, Rishita Kothari turned emotional as she bid farewell to her character Seher, saying the girl who once walked onto the set with fear in her heart is now saying goodbye to the show.
Sharing a heartfelt video montage featuring memorable moments from her journey, Rishita reflected on how her eight-month-long stint and the character became an inseparable part of her life.
"The girl with those dreamy eyes... who walked onto this set with fear in her heart... is bidding goodbye today," she wrote.
She recalled how nervous she was when she first joined the show, wondering if she would be able to do justice to Seher and whether audiences would accept her.
Rishita added that somewhere along the journey, Seher stopped being just a character and became a part of her soul, which is why saying goodbye had been so difficult.
Thanking fans for their constant love, prayers and support, she said they were the reason Rishu became Seher. She also admitted that the journey taught her one of life's biggest lessons — sometimes one should listen to the mind more than the heart.
She concluded by saying, "Because the heart is very beautiful... but it is also the one that causes the deepest pain. Goodbye, Seher. You were never just a character... you became a part of my life."

For the uninitiated, Seher Hone Ko Hai has emerged as one of the top-rated fiction shows on Indian television and also stars Parth Samthaan in a pivotal role.
Meanwhile, over the past few weeks, there have been reports suggesting differences between co-stars Parth Samthaan and Rishita Kothari. However, neither of them has publicly acknowledged or confirmed the speculation.
