Tripura, May 22 (ANI): Security forces along with the state administration raided villages in Tripura bordering Bangladesh and seized huge quantity of cannabis on Tuesday. The forces seized 2,000 kilograms of cannabis worth rupees 10 million from around 50 houses in Sonamura town, a sub-division in Sipahijala district. The dried cannabis was hidden in plastic barrels, containers buried in soil. The villages are located near India-Bangladesh international border where these contrabands were cultivated for smuggling into neighbouring country.
