New Delhi, July 15 (ANI): After Union women and child development minister Maneka Gandhi, it is the Supreme Court that has called for a more stringent Juvenile Justice Act. Questioning the immunity enjoyed by the under-age offenders, SC has asked the government to re-visit the law and make necessary changes. Reacting over this, Delhi Commission for Women Chief Barkha Singh Shukla said that it is a welcome suggestion by the Supreme Court and the government should consider reviewing the law.
