Meerut, Sep 08 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Monday stayed the execution of Surinder Koli, convicted of Nithari killings, who was due to be hanged on the morning of September 12. The apex court passed the order midnight and stayed the execution for a week until a fresh review petition challenging his death penalty is heard. Koli was transferred from the Dasna jail in Ghaziabad district to Meerut on September 4 for the execution of his death warrant issued by the CBI court.
