The State Bank of India (SBI) on Friday declared the final results of the Probationary Officers (PO) examination 2016. The bank is expected to upload the marks scored by the candidates on its website soon.

The results have been announced almost a month after candidates, who passed the main examination (Phase 2), were called for a group discussion and personal interview (Phase 3). The final selection is done based on the marks scored by the candidates in the mains, and the group discussion and personal interview, which means that the preliminary exam's marks are not counted.

A total of 2,200 seats will be filled, out of which 1,028 seats are for general category, 590 for Other Backward Classes (OBCs), 351 for Scheduled Castes (SCs), and 231 for Scheduled Tribes (STs) candidates.

The SBI Probationary Officers (PO) exam 2016 final results can be checked online on the official website of the state-run bank. Click the section "Careers" on the page, go to the "Latest Announcements" section on the top right of the page, and then go to the sixth dot and click the "Final Results" to access the results.
