Sasikumar, who is all set for the release of "Tharai Thappattai", has revealed his plans to direct none other than Ilayathalapathy Vijay. The actor-director also opened up on his wish to work with Ajith.

Reports say Sasikumar has claimed he will work with Vijay soon. The duo has locked in a script and decided to work on the project, but is yet to sign the dotted line.

The actor-director has also claimed he has a script ready for Ajith. But he has not revealed whether he has met Thala and discussed ideas with him.

Currently, Vijay is busy with Atlee Kumar's "Theri". Barring two songs, the shooting for the film has been completed. The team will wrap up this portion in the next two weeks. The film has Samantha and Amy Jackson as the female leads.

The action-thriller is being bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Dhanu, and will release in April. Once the shooting of the film is complete, Vijay will take up Bharathan's untitled film, for which the hunt for the female lead is on.

It will be Vijay's 60th movie and the makers want to release the film for Dilwali. Once he wraps up this flick, he will possibly move on to his next flick with Sasikumar.

Meanwhile, Sasikumar is gearing up for the release of "Tharai Thappattai", which will hit the screens on 14 January. The film, directed by Bala, has Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as the female lead, with Satish Kaushik, Amudhavaanan, RK Suresh and others in the cast.
