The first single of Thalapathy Vijay's Mersal was released well in advance and the track had created quite a lot of buzz even before the film's release. Now, the makers of the actor's upcoming movie Sarkar have adopted the same strategy as the first single from the AR Murugadoss is set to be out in September.
There were rumours recently that the teaser from Sarkar will be unveiled on September 13 on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi festival. The makers recently announced the audio launch date, however, there was no mention of the teaser release, an indication that they have no plans to release the video promo.
The latest buzz is that they have plans to unveil the first single from Vijay starrer instead of a teaser. However, it is not getting released on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi festival rather a few days later. The song will be unveiled directly on YouTube on September 19, say rumour mills.
This strategy could help the movie create the right buzz before its audio launch scheduled on October 2.
Sarkar is an action thriller in which Keerthy Suresh is paired opposite Thalapathy Vijay. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar also has an interesting role along with Prem Kumar, Radha Ravi and others in the supporting cast.
The much-awaited Tamil film will release on November 6.
