New Delhi, Dec 12 (ANI): The Central Bureau of
Investigation (CBI) on Friday arrested West Bengal
State Transport Minister and Trinamool Congress leader
Madan Mitra after questioning him for his alleged role
in the multi-crore rupee Saradha chit fund scam case.
Reacting over this CPI (M) leader Ritabrata Banerjee
said that this should have happened earlier.
Meanwhile, the BJP demanded West Bengal Chief Minister
Mamata Banerjee's resignation and said that the links
of Saradha scam are reaching towards the top leaders
of TMC.
