Shivaraj Kumar is basking in the success of his back-to-back hits in the form of "Killing Veerappan" and "Shivalinga." The actor is aiming at a hatrick with his latest film "Santheyalli Nintha Kabira," which is also known as "Kabeera."

Like his previous two films, "Santheyalli Nintha Kabira" is not a masala entertainer. The latest film is a period film, which tells the life and times of social reformer Kabir. Shivaraj Kumar has paired up with Sanusha in the film, which also has Tamil actor Sarath Kumar in an important role.

Avinash, Sharath Lohitashwa, Ananth Nag, Sanjjanna Galrani and many others are in the supporting roles. Bollywood's popular musician Ismail Darbar has made his Sandalwood debut with "Santheyalli Nintha Kabira" and a few tracks out of nine songs have impressed the Kannada audience.

While Naveen Kumar is the cinematographer, Vishwa is the editor of the Kannada flick.

The movie primarily deals with the social evils existed during the 15th century. Kabir fights for the values that he believed in and brings social reforms. The Kannada movie tries to throw light on his revolutionary activities with necessary commercial elements.
