Director Samuthirakani who is also becoming popular for his acting now a days, is to begin work on his next film soon. Titled Kitna, news about this project first evolved during the release of Nimirnthu Nill. He anounced Kitna to be a female oriented subject and even said that Amala Paul will do the lead. But now, Dhansika who acted in Bala's Paradesi will do the main female role. "I am hoping Amala Paul will do the third role and I plan to launch a Kannada boy called Yogi.
