Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 was truly the most advanced phone when it was launched in August and it would have been a huge hit for the company, had it not faced any explosion issues due to a faulty battery.
Besides the innovative Iris scanner and advanced S-Pen, another feature that differentiated the Galaxy Note 7 from its stylus-less cousin, the Galaxy S7 edge, was its eye catching Blue Coral variant. The company, in a bid to rejuvenate smartphone sales, on Tuesday launched the same azure coloured Galaxy S7 edge in select markets across the world.

The new Galaxy S7 edge comes with deep blue cover on the back aand on the front, and the edge's metallic frame features a premium gold finish, thus resulting in a stunning dual-toned colour combination. With the launch of the new variant, the Galaxy S7 edge will now be available in six colours -- Black Onyx, Gold Platinum, White Pearl, Silver Titanium, Pink Gold and the new Blue Coral.
Except the new colour, everything else such as exterior design language and internal hardware remain the same.The Galaxy S7 edge sports a QHD (2560x1440p) dual-edge curved display, Snapdragon 820/Exynos 8890 (depending on the region of sale), 4GB RAM, 64GB inbuilt memory, a dual-pixel 12MP camera with f/1.7 aperture, Smart OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and a 5MP snapper with F/1.7 aperture on the front.
Samsung Galaxy S7 edge Blue Coral availability:
The company has confirmed that the Galaxy S7 edge Blue Coral will be released by each market's wireless providers and regional Samsung offices November 1 onwards.
