Samsung's new phablet Galaxy Grand comes with an instinctual feature called Direct Call. This the intuitive feature enables users to automatically dial a call by raising the device to the ear. Users can also shake the phone to trigger a status update.

SmartAlert shows missed calls and new messages just by picking up the phone. Another feature, S-Voice, helps users to browse through using voice commands.

The new phablet features many useful specs to match its name 'Grand', but its display resolution at 480x800p is bit of a letdown for a ₹21,000 plus priced smartphone.
