Korean tech giant Samsung's Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 tablet has been listed on the company's India e-store with a price tag of 36,430.
Samsung, which is yet to announce the device officially for India, has quietly placed the Tab 3 10.1 on its website with no mention of the availability of the device. Currently, the tablet is listed with 'Not in Stock' tag. However, the sighting of the tablet on the website screams of imminent launch of the device in the country.
Unveiled in June 2013 along with Galaxy Tab 3 8.0, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 is a device to fill the gap between the entry level Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Neo and the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro. It sports a 10.1-inch TFT display with a resolution of 1280×800 and is powered by 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Atom Clover Trail+ (Z2560) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.
The Tablet houses a 3-megapixel camera on the back and 1.3-megapixel camera on the front side. In terms of the internal storage, the device comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable upto 64 GB with microSD card.
It supports connectivity features like 3G and WIFi and runs on the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS. The device comes loaded with 6,800 mAh Li-ion battery, which claims deliver up to 8 hours of usage and Samsung apps such as Samsung Hub, ChatOn, S Translator, S Travel, Pop up Video and WatchON.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 comes in three variants - Wi-Fi only, 3G and LTE. The model featured on the Samsung India website mentions Wi-Fi only, but also says 2G/3G Bands, making it difficult to pinpoint which variant is likely to enter the market first.
