Consumer electronics behemoth Samsung is reportedly planning to launch a new limited edition Iron Man series Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge in a few days. 

The South Korean arm of the company (via official Facebook account) has teased a Galaxy S6 Edge with the trademark Iron Man insignia on the rear side. The poster reads – 'COMING NEXT WEEK' with Marvel's Avengers – Age of Ultron title to the bottom right.

Thus, confirming that Samsung in all probability will release the new limited edition Galaxy S6 model, but there is no word on whether it will be rolled out in all global markets or it will be limited to select regions.

It is also yet to be ascertained what new features we will be seen in the new Galaxy S6 models or they will just feature red-hued body with Iron Man head mask on the rear side.

For the uninitiated, Galaxy S6 (& S6 Edge) was unveiled early this month at MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2015 in Barcelona. It is a major upgrade over its predecessor Galaxy S5, which failed to impress critics and fans in 2014. Despite boasting top-of-the-line hardware, it was panned for featuring low-quality plastic cover.

But now, the new Samsung devices come protected with superior aircraft grade metal cover (1.5-times stronger than any smartphone in the market) and Gorilla Glass 4 shield (both front & back). In the front, they flaunt 5.1-inch QHD (2,560x1,440p) display with pixel density of 577 ppi (pixels per inch).

S6 Edge too features the same display resolution and the only difference is that the screen stretches to both right and left side edges.

Both the devices come packed with 14nm class 64-bit Exynos 7 Octa-core processor with 3GB LPDRR4 RAM, UFS 2.0 series super-fast memory chips - 32GB/64GB/128GB storage options, a 16mp camera and a 5mp snapper on the front.
