World smartphone leader, Samsung officially released the compact flagship handset Galaxy S5 Mini in India on Wednesday.
The company has joined hands with popular e-retailer Flipkart to sell Galaxy S5 Mini online for ₹26,499.

It even boasts of value-added features like IP67 dust-and-water resistant certifications, finger-print sensor, IR Remote, Ultra Power Saving Mode and heart-rate sensor technology.
Galaxy S5 Mini features a 4.5-inch HD (720x1280p) super AMOLED screen and comes packed with 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, 16GB (expandable up to 64GB) and a 2,100 mAh battery.
Other stipulated specifications include 8.0-megapixel camera (auto-focus & LED flash), 2.1-megapixel camera (with full HD video recording ability) and on the connectivity front, it supports 3G network, dual-SIM slots, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n), USB v2.0 and A-GPS+GLONASS for navigation.
Competition:
Galaxy S5 Mini will be up competing with Motorola Moto X, Oppo N1 Mini, Gionee Elife 7 Mini, Google Nexus 5 and others, which all fall under the sub-₹30,000 price category.
