Samsung's recently unveiled Galaxy S4 Mini will be available in the market for purchase on Sunday (21 July).

The miniature variant of Samsung's best selling device Galaxy S4, which made its debut in the country recently, was opened for preorder on Samsung's official eStore and Flipkart with a price tag of ₹27,900. Although the handset availability was expected from 18 July, the latest reports suggest that it will come to the market on Sunday. The smaller version of the Galaxy S4 will come bundled with 2GB of 3G data free from RCom.

"Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini will be available in online as well as retail market from July 21 and it will come with free 2 GB of 3G data from RCom for two months," said Manu Sharma, director, mobile business, Samsung India as quoted by Mobile Indian.

Regarding its specifications, Galaxy S4 Mini sports a 4.3-inch super AMOLED+ screen with qHD 960x540p resolutions having pixel density close to 256 ppi (pixels per inch) and runs on the Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS. In terms of memory, it houses 1.5GB RAM and 8GB which can be expandable up to 64GB via microSD card.

Under the hood, it packs 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor along with Adreno 305 graphics card. It is powered by 1900 mAh battery which claims a life of up to 12 hours of talk time. On the connectivity front, the device supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0 and GPS. The phone will be available in black mist and white frost colours.
