In an interesting development, Samsung, which is yet to officially commence the roll-out of the new Galaxy Note7 in global markets, is planning to release more advanced versions of the flagship phablet in select regions later this month.
Chinese arm of Samsung has officially announced to launch the Galaxy Note7 with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM on Aug. 26. The company will commence the pre-order service on the very same day.
Except the increase in RAM and storage capacity, rest of the hardware is said to remain the same. The original model comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB memory with option to expand up to 256GB via microSD card.
Other stipulated features of Galaxy Note7 include 5.7-inch Quad-HD (2560x1440p) super AMOLED display (protected by Corning's latest Gorilla Glass 5 shield), Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core/Exynos 8890 octa-core (depending on the region of sale), 4GB RAM, 64GB inbuilt storage, dual-pixel 12MP camera, 5MP front camera and a 3,500mAh battery.
In addition to fingerprint sensor on the home button, the Galaxy Note7 also boasts ocular-based state-of-art iris recognition biometric technology, which can also be utilised for secured online purchases.

The new model is said to cost ¥6088 (around $918/€811/Rs. 61,380) in China, reported Phone Arena citing a company insider.
