Samsung's newly-launched Galaxy Note 8.0 was spotted online in a Charcoal Black version.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet, designed to take on Apple's iPad mini, was unveiled at the recently concluded Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Samsung had showed off the tablet in India under the name 'Galaxy Note 510' last Friday soon after its global debut. However, the company did not mention anything about the availability and price of the device in the Indian market.

According to PhoneArena.com, the new tablet was seen in a Charcoal Black variant. A leaked image of the Charcoal Black Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 was also shown on the website. The tablet had arrived with a Marble White design when it was unveiled at the MWC.

The device boasts of an 8-inch 1280 x 800 pixel resolution display with 189 pixel density, and is powered by a quad-core processor which is clocked at 1.6GHz. The tablet runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) out of the box.

The tablet packs 2GB of RAM and comes in 16GB and 32GB internal storage options. The tablet supports microSD card support for expandable memory upto 64GB. On the connectivity front, the Samsung Galaxy Note 510 Tablet supports 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0.

The tablet packs a 4600mAh battery and weighs 338 grams.

Samsung's new Android tablet carries forward a number of features of the Galaxy Note. The most notable feature among them is the tablet's compatibility with the S Pen stylus. The tablet comes with apps such as S Planner, Page Notes, Pop-Up Video and Dual View.
