The Samsung Galaxy Note 5, one of the most-awaited devices of the year, and the Galaxy S6 Edge+, will hit the stores soon. Their release date has not been revealed yet but it is very likely to happen a few weeks after the unveiling event if history is anything to go by.

The South Korean giant's flagship models are very likely to arrive in just two days. The company has sent out press invites to its "Unpacked 2015", so it is almost certain that the devices will be announced at the event on 13 August.

It was earlier speculated that Samsung might launch the Galaxy Note 5, codenamed Project Noble - with flat display - and Galaxy Note 5 Edge, codenamed Project Zero 2 - with dual-edge curved screen - at the upcoming IFA event in September. But the mobile phone maker seems to have killed the Note 5 Edge and decided to launch two other devices in August.

Expectation on the Galaxy Note 5 is huge following the stupendous success of its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 4, and other Note devices.

There are conflicting reports on the specifications of the Galaxy Note 5. It is reported that the device will feature an ejectable S-Pen and a glass back.
