Almost every detail of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ has been leaked ahead of their release. Although the complete features of the devices have surfaced on the web, the details have not been confirmed yet.

Samsung has not officially announced the release date of its upcoming devices -- Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ -- but tech enthusiasts are certain that it will be made public at the "Unpacked 2015" event, scheduled on 13 August.

It was earlier reported that the South Korean electronics giant would launch two Note variants -- Galaxy Note 5, codenamed Project Noble, with flat display, and Galaxy Note 5 Edge, codenamed Project Zero 2, with dual-edge curved screen -- at the IFA event in September. But that might not happen as Note 5 Edge has reportedly been killed.

According to a report by Phone Arena, Middle East online retailer Jarir Bookstore revealed the specifications of both Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ in its listing. It claimed that Note 5 weighs 169gm, has a thickness of 7.6mm and comes in black and gold colors.

It also reported that the device has a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 1440 x 2560 resolution and protected by Gorilla Glass 4, Exynos 7422 SoC processor, octa-core CPU, Android 5.1 Lollipop, 32/64 GB internal memory with 128 GB capacity microSD slot, 4 GB RAM, 16 MP main camera, 5 MP secondary snapper and 4100mAh battery.

The same report said that Galaxy S6 Edge+ weighs 156gm and has a thickness of 6.9mm. It has features like a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 1440 x 2560 resolution that is protected by Gorilla Glass 4, Exynos 7420 SoC, an octa-core CPU and the Mali-T760 MP8 GPU, Android 5.1 Lollipop, 32/64 GB of internal storage (no mention of microSD card slot), 4 GB RAM, 16 MP rear camera, 5 MP front snapper and 3000mAh battery.

It may be mentioned that Evan Blass (@evleaks) had earlier claimed in a tweet that Galaxy Note 5 will come with 5.66-inch display with 560x1440 pixels, Exynos 7420 SoC processor clocking at 4x2.1GHz+4x1.5GHz, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, 32 GB internal memory, 4 GB RAM, 16MP main camera and 5MP front snapper. A few reports also state that the device will feature an ejectable S-Pen, but may do away with microSD card slot and removable battery.

According to Sogi (via GSM Arena), Galaxy Note 5 will be priced at TWD 23,900 (approximately Rs 48,220), which is TWD 1,000 cheaper than Galaxy Note 4, which was priced at TWD 24,900 at the time of launch.
