Samsung is tight-lipped about when it will release the Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 from C-series outside China, but reports have claimed that they will be launched in other markets too. The devices are expected to be launched in several countries, including India.

The South Korean technology giant released the Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 in China last month. The company has launched a few devices like the Galaxy J5 (2016), Galaxy J7 (2016), Galaxy J2 (2016) and Galaxy J Max in India, but it didn't reveal whether it will bring the handsets from the C-series to the country.

However, the Galaxy C5 codenamed SM-C5000 has been spotted on Zauba, a website that tracks imports and exports in India, giving a hint that it could be released in India along with the Galaxy C7. The same device has been cleared by the Federal Communication Commission (FCC), so it may come to the United States too.

Samsung is expected to announce its upcoming next-generation device dubbed as the Galaxy Note 7 on August 2. So, it won't come as a surprise if the company releases its pending devices like the Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 before the big day. Releasing any device a few weeks after the launch of the Galaxy Note 7 would mean that there are chances of going unnoticed.

The Galaxy C5 comes in two models. It is priced at 2199 Yuan (around $335 / Rs. 22,500) for the 32GB, and 2399 Yuan (around $365 / Rs. 24,500) for the 64GB. It features a 5.2-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with 1,920×1,080 pixels, an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, and an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It also comes packed with a 32/64GB internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card), a 4GB RAM, a 16MP main camera with f/1.9 aperture, an 8MP front-snapper with f/1.9 aperture, and a 2,600mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
