Television actress Sambhavna Seth got married to her long time boyfriend Avinash Dwivedi on Thursday, July 14, in Delhi in the presence of her family and friends. The actress has been updating her fans with pictures of her wedding ceremonies including mehendi and sangeet on her Instagram page.
On her wedding day, Sambhavna looked gorgeous in a red and green lehenga and heavy jewellery. The pre-wedding ceremonies including mehendi and sangeet were also held at the capital and although none of the actress' colleagues from the industry attended the wedding, the couple has planned to throw a bash for their friends in Mumbai once they return to the city.
The actress posted a video from her sangeet ceremony where she is seen dancing to the tune of "Resham Ka Rumaal" from the film "Great Grand Masti." During her mehendi ceremony, an elated Sambhavna told Hindustan Times: "I am the happiest bride in the world because my parents are with me now."
There were reports earlier that the "Bigg Boss 2" contestant's parents were against her marrying Avinash but her mother clarified that they never had any such issues. "He (Avinash) is a very sweet guy. It was just the media wrote that we are not in favour of the match. If we weren't happy, why would we be here?" Sambhavna's mother had said.
Sambhavana and Avinash met on the sets of a dance reality show about five year ago where the actress was Avinash's mentor.
