Promotional materials of big movies have been hitting the internet through backdoors despite filmmakers taking necessary steps to prevent leaks. The biggest example remains Baahubali 2 when unedited climax portion was leaked by someone who was close to the production team. Now, we have one more incident on similar lines.
Samantha's look in her forthcoming movie Rangasthalam has been leaked online. A few photos of the actress in different postures are doing rounds on social media sites, leaving the makers upset.
The makers are apparently not happy with the development and taken the issue seriously as they have filed a complaint at the cyber crime department in Hyderabad on Monday, December 11.
"We are suspecting that it may not stop here with a couple of still photos and are afraid of other material they might have with them. It affects a lot of promotional activities of the film at subsequent stages. So, sir please investigate the issue and do the needful," the Hindustan Times quotes the written complaint filed by Mythri Movie Makers.
However, the first look of the movie was released a few days ago and met with good response. Ram Charan has a simple look at the poster. The actor, who will be seen in the role of Chitti Babu, appears in lungi and banian-clad avatar. He will be seen sporting a beard in the dancing pose.
Rangasthalam 1985 is presented by Surekha Konidela and produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar, Mohan Cherukuri, Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan under the banner Mythri Movie Makers.
Samantha is playing the female lead, while Aadhi Pinisetty, Jagapati Babu, and Rambha appear in important roles. Pooja Hegde will be doing a special number for the Telugu flick, which has Devi Sri Prasad's music, R Rathnavelu's cinematography and Navin Nooli's editing.
