Popular actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu is celebrating the success of her recently released film Maa Inti Bangaaram. Samantha, along with the film's team, her husband, and fans, was seen attending a meet-and-greet event. The actor interacted with fans and also cut several congratulatory cakes.
However, many eagle-eyed fans noticed Samantha's baby bump in videos from the event.
Samantha opted for a body-hugging light blue T-shirt and jeans, and her baby bump was quite visible. Many fans argued that it could be something else. However, a report by NDTV confirmed that actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru are expecting their first child.
A report in Pinkvilla claims that Samantha and Raj will welcome their first child in December 2026.
However, Samantha and Raj have not officially announced the news.
Samantha and Raj married on December 1, 2025, in an intimate ceremony at Sadhguru's Isha Foundation in Coimbatore. She shared a few wedding pictures on Instagram on the same day.
The pair had earlier collaborated on the popular web series The Family Man 2.
Rumours about their relationship began when Samantha shared photos from the World Pickleball League on Instagram, where she was seen supporting the Chennai Super Champs with Raj by her side.
About the film Maa Inti Bangaaram
Samantha Ruth Prabhu-starrer Maa Inti Bangaaram took a good opening at the box office and collected Rs 5.35 crore net in India on Friday. As per early estimates, Maa Inti Bangaaram is expected to collect around Rs 6-8 crore on Saturday, and if footfalls in the night shows are better, the collection could be even higher. In two days, the film's collection is expected to be around Rs 12-14 crore, which is quite good.
According to reports, Maa Inti Bangaaram was made on a budget of Rs 25-30 crore, and the makers have already recovered around Rs 35 crore through non-theatrical and theatrical rights. So, the film is already a profitable venture for the producers.
