
Samantha Ruth Prabhu is on cloud nine as she attended the reception hosted by President Droupadi Murmu on the 77th Republic Day in Delhi. The evening was attended by President Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President António Costa, and brought together celebrated voices from across culture, industry, and public life in a spirit of unity and national pride.
On Tuesday, January 27, the actress took to her Instagram handle to pen an emotional note. She wrote, "Growing up, there were no cheerleaders... no inner voice that ever suggested I'd be here one day. No roadmap... Dreams like this once felt too big to even imagine. I just kept showing up, in a country that allowed that to be enough! Forever grateful."
The actor radiated elegance in a pista saree and wore a multi-coloured shawl. Samantha shared several pictures from the reception, posing at Rashtrapati Bhavan, and also included a glimpse of the official invitation.

In the photos, Samantha was seen wearing a stunning green saree with golden embellishments. She accessorised the look with a golden choker necklace and matching earrings, opting for light makeup and a centre-parted hairstyle.
Netizens had mixed reactions to Samantha attending the dinner hosted at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Many lauded her for her achievements and new feats in her career. Some drew comparisons, pointing out that it was Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Samantha's ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya, who met first, much before Samantha, and claimed she merely wanted to prove the same thing.
For the unversed, last year in February, Sobhita Dhulipala shared a proud moment as she and her actor husband Naga Chaitany,a met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Parliament House. The duo had the honour of presenting the book 'Akkineni Ka Virat Vyaktitva', penned by Padma Bhushan awardee Dr. Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad. The book is a tribute to the life and legacy of legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR) and his indelible contributions to Indian cinema.

In her social media post, she shared inside pictures from the meet-and-greet with the PM, featuring Sobhita Dhulipala, Naga Chaitanya, Nagarjuna, and others alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi. For the special occasion, Nagarjuna and Chaitanya donned elegant dark bandhgala outfits, exuding sophistication, while Sobhita opted for a stunning cream and gold saree.

Samantha took her fans by surprise after she shared wedding photos with The Family Man director Raj Nidimoru. The couple tied the knot on December 1, 2025, in an intimate ceremony attended only by close friends and family at Sadhguru's Isha Yoga Centre, at the Linga Bhairavi Temple in Coimbatore.
Sobhita Dhulipala tied the knot with Naga Chaitanya in December 2024, following their engagement in August 2024.
