As Independence Day is approaching, people have started showing off their patriotic side. From commoners to Bollywood celebs, all are on a spree of sharing their 'Salute Selfie' on social media.
#SaluteSelfie is a campaign started by Reliance Group to support the Indian Armed Forces. B-Town stars, including Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Shahid Kapoor and many others, came forward to support this patriotic campaign.
Recently, SRK posted his 'salute selfie' on his Twitter handle with the caption: "Salute 2 r Armed Forces, who selflessly risk their lives 2 protect our beloved country & our families. #SaluteSelfie"
The "Shaandaar" actor, Shahid Kapoor, also shared his selfie on Instagram saying, "#SaluteSelfieacknowledging the selfless, brave heroes #IndianArmy"
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan not only uploaded his selfie but also shared a few lines from his father Harivanshrai Bachchan's poem.
