Salman Khan's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" is gearing up for release, and so far only its logo has been put out.

Impatient fans, who have already made posters of their favourite star's film, are in for a treat as the makers have more or less zeroed in on a release date for the first look.

"Nothing has been finalised as yet. We are locking these things in the coming week. The last schedule is on at the moment and on September 20, we will be wrapping up our shooting after which we will start our post-production and other marketing activities. The first look might be out in the last week of September or first week of October," Absolute India News quoted P S Ramanathan of Rajshri Productions as saying.

There have been conjectures that the "PRDP" trailer may be attached with Akshay Kumar's "Singh is Bliing", which is slated for a 2 October release. This piece of news is in sync with trade analyst Girish Johar's announcement on Twitter.

"Another news....@BeingSalmanKhan #PremRatanDhanPayo trailer this 2nd Oct," he posted a while ago.

In other news, the unit is making sure the remaining portions are shot discreetly (which explains the ban on cell phones on the sets) because earlier a bunch of behind-the-scenes pictures had gone viral on social media.

While some were shared by the film's leading stars – Salman, Sonam Kapoor – most were uploaded by onlookers.

Set to release this November, the film is being directed by Sooraj Barjatya and will star Swara Bhaskar, Anupam Kher, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Armaan Kohli in key roles.
