Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is all set to revive his past hit films as he will pair up with his good luck charm, director Sooraj Barjatiya.

Salman has reportedly signed up for Sooraj's upcoming film which will go on floors this month. The film is expected to be released by Diwali next year.

The news was confirmed by trade analyst Taran Adarsh on Monday. "Xclusiv: Just been informed by Rajshri, @BeingSalmanKhan - Sooraj Barjatya film will release in Diwali 2015. Shooting starts in June 2014," he tweeted.

Salman and Sooraj has had an impressive record with classic hits like "Maine Pyar Kiya" (1989), "Hum Aapke Hain Kaun" (1994) and "Hum Sath Sath Hain" (1999).

It is believed that the "Ek Tha Tiger" star is quite eager to work with the director and has gone ahead to fix dates.

Previously, it was reported that Salman had even asked Boney Kapoor to postpone the shooting of "No Entry" sequel in order to allot some dates for Sooraj's film.

Going with the tradition of the director's Rajshri Productions house, the film is expected to be a family drama and the script has been finalised.

Although Salman would be in the lead, the entire cast is yet to be announced.

Several Rajshri-produced films had characteristically great leading pairs. And Salman's pairing, be it with Bhagyashree in "Maine Pyar Kiya", Madhuri Dixit in "Hum Aapke Hain Kaun" or Sonali Bendre in "Hum Sath Sath Hain", has been praised for great chemistry.

The bigger question now lies as to who would play the ideal partner to the 47-year-old actor in the upcoming family drama.
