Nazar is real. All of us have heard this term, and be it commoners, celebs, politicians, or even the biggest of tycoons, the evil eye does ruin a lot.

Who says people aren't scared of nazar? It can affect health, relationships, careers, and much more than one can imagine. Many people perform rituals like taking salt baths, removing nazar on Tuesdays and Saturdays, or simply wearing a pendant, ring, or black thread to protect themselves from the evil eye.

Bollywood actor Salman Khan's family has been going through a lot lately. Salman already has ongoing legal cases, his health is often a concern, and recently his father, Salim Khan, was hospitalised for a month following a brain haemorrhage.

Despite all this, Salman has been working tirelessly and continuing with his shoots. With age comes several health issues, and Salman doesn't speak much about them in the media, but continues to push through.

Recently, Salman Khan attended an event in Mumbai, where he was joined by Eknath Shinde at the grand opening ceremony of the President Cup 2026, held in Thane.

The actor greeted fans and paparazzi, but eagle-eyed netizens noticed not just his usual blue coral bracelet, but also a new ring.

Salman Khan's 'anti-nazar' ring moment goes viral

Several videos and photos have gone viral that shows, Salman was seen taking out a ring with a blue gemstone from his pocket and wearing it on his middle finger, this gesture is believed to ward off negative energy, similar to his iconic turquoise bracelet, which is rooted in his family tradition.

Many users pointed out that Salman has never done this publicly before, as it is often believed that one should not openly display such things. Some even criticised him, saying it looked deliberate and that he shouldn't have done it so openly.

Reacting to the video, one X user commented, "Salman Khan is doing the most to dodge buri nazar by putting the ring on his middle finger. Not even subtle anymore..."

The comment humorously pointed out that while Salman may have been trying to protect himself from buri nazar, wearing the ring on his middle finger made it look like an unintended insulting gesture.

Salman Khan has collaborated with Jacob & Co. to launch a limited-edition World Is Yours Dual Time Zone watch

On the other hand, Salman Khan also shared a post on his Instagram, where he posted a carousel featuring himself wearing a luxury watch from Jacob & Co..

Salman Khan now owns another timepiece, The World Is Yours Dual Time Zone, a limited-edition watch curated specially for him.

Building on that legacy, the special edition also honours his father, Salim Khan, making it a tribute that bridges generations and stories.

Salman wrote, "The World Is Yours Dual Time Zone isn't just about telling time—it's about honouring the journey. The cities that shaped me. The people who stood by me. The family that keeps me grounded."

According to Jacob & Co.'s official website, the project draws inspiration from a vintage timepiece that Jacob Arabo received from his father as a teenager.

The dial is infused with the colours of the national flag—saffron, white, and green—symbolising courage, truth, and growth. At its centre lies the Ashoka Chakra, adding a deeper layer of meaning tied to dharma and motion.

Specs of the watch

Beyond its emotional value, the watch is a technical marvel. It features two fully independent time zones, each adjustable down to the minute, ideal for tracking time across different regions, including countries with unique offsets like India.

Powered by a self-winding movement, the piece includes twin rotating globes, a domed sapphire crystal, and a detailed dial with over 200 components. The subtle "SK" signature replaces traditional markers, adding a personal touch.

The watch also features a compass-inspired small seconds hand at the centre, reinforcing the theme of journeys and direction.

Salman Khan is currently busy with his upcoming war film  Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace (earlier titled Battle of Galwan), directed by Apoorva Lakhia and co-starring Chitrangada Singh.
